When our pet passes away, we are really heartbroken. It is a painful experience. But as life is, we have to move on. We should try to get over the gloominess and open our hearts to another pet in need of a home.
The same thing happened to one grandma, who lost her dog suddenly and wanted a new puppy to enter her life. Her dream was made a reality by her family members with the surprise gift of a puppy.
Alexandra Del Cima who lives in California knew that her grandparents need the dog desperately as their earlier dog passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Since then they had been asking for a puppy for months.
The family decided to give their grandma a surprise and handed her a cardboard box saying that it contained just knitting and stuff that someone returned to her.
But there was something else in the box which was very interesting. The grandma exclaimed ‘Oh my God’ as she opened the box.
She opened the box and there was a sweet puppy in it. The puppy was only 9 week old Shih Tzu and Maltese mix and it was a surprise gift from her mom and granddaughter.
Alexandra said that they were not planning to give away the puppy to grandma but a friend’s dog had a litter of puppies and they thought it was the best opportunity to gift the puppy.
She said the reaction of the grandma on seeing the puppy was far better than anything they could have ever imagined.
Grandma breaks down in tears of joy and hugs her new puppy. Really the moment was very special and we hope both will have a good time ahead.
