Owners abandoned dog by tying it to a fire hydrant as they are unable to look after her

The most heartbreaking thing is to abandon a pet. At times, maybe the owners find themselves in difficult situations still it is the responsibility of the owners to properly surrender the dog to a shelter or find them a new home. There is one dog whose heartbreaking photo where was seen tied to a fire hydrant went viral. Luckily the dog is in safe hands now.

The dog which is a tan mixed breed named Baby Girl was left tied up to a yellow fire hydrant in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The dog was left with a note that explained the inability of the owners to look after the dog. The dog even had a backpack full of the dog’s treats, toys, and food.

Though the owners had explained their reasons and they thought they did the responsible thing by surrendering the dog but it was quite shocking for Kyle Rose Engelhardt, who spotted the dog and shared her story online.
She said that it actually broke her heart and she could not believe that someone could do that. She asked if anyone recognized the dog.

The concerned woman took the Baby Girl to the Winconsin Humane Society and told her that the dog is doing great while in the stray hold. Different people reacted differently to the story. They did find that a responsible way to part with a dog.

While Humane Society was very sympathetic to the owners and said that they understood the situation in which the owners parted from the dog. They had their medical complications and struggles. They appreciated the love of the owners in a way they packed the bag full of all the favorite things of the dog.

The dog was left in the middle of a neighborhood where she could be quickly found. The Humane Society said that Baby Girl is having a bright future ahead. There are mixed feelings both sadness and happiness. We are sad that the dog was left alone and the owner has to part way from her. We are happy as everything is turning out to be good for Baby Girl.
